Therefore there is no need for early arrival to secure your places.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>THE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 19.30<\/strong><strong>. \u00a0<\/strong><strong>This will allow the committee to arrange seating and tables.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As this is the Christmas Meeting, I will be choosing some special wines\u00a0 and of course we will be\u00a0 presenting\u00a0 our Wine Tasters Of the Year Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Amongst the wines that you will be enjoying with this sumptuous meal will be :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Seminare Diosesis de Ourense, a delicious White wine from the Galician Region which combines the best of the Albari\u00f1o, Godello and Treixadura grapes in a superbly\u00a0 expressive cepage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Muga Rosado 2013 from Rioja\u2019s premier bodega. They have worked their customary magic with this delightful blend of Garnacha, Viura and just a touch of Tempranillo for which Pe\u00f1in has awarded 90 points, most unusual for a rosado wine!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Marques de Valdueza 2009. We tasted another of the wines from this Extramadura bodega in a February tasting and you marked it highly then. Well this is a step up in category and I think you will enjoy the rich and velvety flavours of this superb wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pago de Balancines Mata Negra 2009, another Extramadura wine from this rapidly improving region, which is a real favourite of ours. This \u00a0outstanding blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Garnacha Tintorera \u00a0has really caught the critics\u2019 eye and it has achieved a monstrous 94 Pe\u00f1in points.
