Dear Members,<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope you have all enjoyed a good summer, or are still enjoying it, wherever you are or have been.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are now gearing up to the second half of our tasting year with our September tasting which is on the 15th <\/sup>at La Senia in Denia and is the very popular<\/strong> \u201cWhose wine is it anyway?\u201d introduced by Caryl and Gordon Sellars.<\/span><\/p>\n

At this tasting, subject to space, members\u2019 guests will be welcome. At the time you make your own booking you should also apply for places for your guests together with their menu choices<\/u>. Requiring choices before you know if we have places for your guests is a change to the norm but it is to make it easier for Colin and Sue to give the venues all our choices in good time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Penny will confirm if we have places available for your guests closer to the event and spaces will be offered in order of request.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have had a few rules in place just to make it easier for everyone to have a great evening. There are a few little changes so may I ask you just to read them through again to make sure you are clear. Thankyou.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Reservations and choice of main course please to: Penny Floodgate Tel: 965794996 or email pennyfloodgate@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0Reservations must be received no later than the deadline 12.00 noon on\u00a0Monday 12th<\/sup> September<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. When you book Penny will ALWAYS confirm back to you. If you haven\u2019t had a confirmation, we don\u2019t have your booking! Please contact Penny again.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. If a tasting is open to guests Penny must be advised of their menu choices at the time of making a request for places. You will be advised after the deadline for bookings if there is sufficient space for us to welcome your guests.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Doors will open at 19.30 and welcome drinks will not <\/strong>be available before that time. Please do not arrive before then to allow the committee time to arrange the tables etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Table numbers are always allocated by a draw from the bag. Arriving early will not influence your table number!<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. As we now collect the money at the tables it would be helpful if you bring the correct amount.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. If you need to cancel after the Monday deadline you should contact Penny direct. Please DO NOT contact the venue.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Sorry – but if you have to cancel after the deadline or don\u2019t turn up you will still have to pay.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Whilst there are rooms available at La Senia, the Hostal Loreto (966 435 419) round the corner have offered a 10% discount to CBWS members.<\/span><\/p>\n
