The November tasting at the Canali Restaurante in Javea was attended by 55 members and guests.<\/p>\n

This was the first time we had used this restaurant, but its reputation was good and well-founded!\u00a0 The venue was good, easy to find and had adequate parking.<\/p>\n

We were made very welcome by the owner and her staff.\u00a0 They provided excellent food and it was accompanied by a variety of wines, very well presented by Thamar Kolsteran from Casa del Vino wine shop in Javea, known to many of you. Here is the result of our wine scoring with the price of each wine and our average scores per wine.<\/p>\n

December Wine Tasting \u2013 DECEMBER 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

This tasting will be held at Restaurante A Bordo (formerly Nau Nau), Club Nautica, Javea Marina. Please note the earlier date due to Christmas.\u00a0 This is our Christmas tasting with wines we have tasted throughout the year. Gentleman are invited to wear black tie or a suit and the ladies in their usual smart attire.\u00a0 We will also be presenting the Wine Taster of the Year award.\u00a0 This is a fun evening with free seating for Members Only<\/strong> so book early to ensure your place.<\/p>\n

Important Notice – January 16th \u2013 Wine Tasting Meeting and AGM <\/strong><\/p>\n

At this meeting we hold the AGM. Again it is a members only meeting at which we elect the President and Vice President for 2020.<\/p>\n

We currently have a vacancy for the Vice President and we are looking for someone to take on this role. We have thought that maybe this role could be shared between two or more people if no one candidate comes forward.<\/p>\n

Please do consider if you could make a contribution to the running of the Society. The Committee works as a team and jobs are shared when needed. It is a fun place to be working with a proactive group, so your offer would be very well received!<\/p>\n
