This will be my last Newsletter to you before I retire from the Committee next month.<\/p>\n

The December tasting at the A Bordo Restaurante in Javea was attended by 34 members.<\/p>\n

Despite our reduced numbers, we had a fun night, good wine and food served in a friendly and professional style.<\/p>\n

As this was the President\u2019s choice we enjoyed some wines we have tasted throughout the year. Photos and a brief report of the evening are available on the website or click here<\/a><\/p>\n

The Next Monthly Wine Tasting and AGM \u2013 January 16th<\/sup> 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you know our January meeting includes the AGM followed by a tasting of wines selected by the new President.\u00a0 On this occasion members of the Committee have also been invited to present their choice of wine.<\/p>\n

The AGM will commence at 18.30 hours at the Sol y Mar Hotel, Calpe.\u00a0 This is the opportunity for all members to attend and participate in the proceedings.\u00a0 The Agenda is already posted on the website under the heading AGM 2020 or you can click here<\/a><\/p>\n

Your committee have been unsuccessful in finding anyone prepared to stand for the position of Vice President in 2020. May I urge you to think carefully whether this is something you would consider putting yourself forward for or do you know anyone else we may approach? If so would you please have a chat with Tim – chatting to him will not commit you!! You can email him on timfawle@gmail.com or call on 616 498 505<\/p>\n

For those of you who would like to stay overnight in the Sol y Mar hotel, we have negotiated a reduced rate when you book on line<\/a>. You will need to enter the code CBWSJANUARY. The discount will click in on booking. We are unable to give rates as the hotel has told us rates fluctuate.<\/p>\n
