Autumn Questionnaire\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/div>\n
Many thanks to all of you who responded to this as it has provided valuable feedback and has helped us plan our future under the current circumstances. Here is the summary of the questionnaire:<\/span><\/div>\n

The level of interest is very encouraging and demonstrates your enthusiasm to keep tasting wines\u00a0 and it also provides us with a way forward in our planning.<\/span><\/div>\n

Zoom Tasting September 17<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/div>\n
16 members participated on Zoom with Neville Richardson presenting 3 wines, White Rioja,\u00a0Monastrell and a Manzanilla from Sanlucar. Neville guided us through the characteristics of each wine and grape, highlighting the difference in colour, nose and taste. This was a very interesting insight and provided some learnings for all of us.<\/span><\/div>\n
Afterwards, there followed a social chat with everyone and the feedback was that it made a very enjoyable evening.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
Zoom Tasting Thursday October 15 (Always the 3rd Thursday of the month)<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/div>\n
I am very pleased to advise you that\u00a0 Eduard\u00a0Morell owner of Vinyes\u00a0del Terrer DO Tarragona will present 3 wines to us on Zoom. Those of you who were on the Wine Trip to Tarrogona will recall we visited this bodega which is next door to Port Aventura and Eduard also came to Denia the following year.<\/span><\/div>\n
Their wines are excellent so please do your best to\u00a0take part, you will not be disappointed!<\/span><\/div>\n
I do need your firm commitment that you will be participating as we have to pre order the wines for the tasting and then arrange for you to collect them from me\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

Blanc del Terrer 2018\u00a0 6\u20ac per bottle<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
Terrer\u00a0d’Aubert 2016 10\u20ac per bottle.<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
Nus del Terrer 2015 15\u20ac per bottle<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
Eduard also will give us a special discount if we would like to order after the tasting. There will also be a nominal transport charge.<\/span><\/div>\n
PLEASE CONFIRM TO ME (timfawle@gmail.com<\/a>) <\/span>BY THURSDAY OCTOBER 1st <\/span>SO I CAN ORDER THE WINE FOR THIS TASTING WHICH WILL THEN BE DELIVERED TO ME FOR YOUR COLLECTION .<\/b>\u00a0 It will probably be simpler if you can pay the \u20ac31 in cash on collection please, unless you want more bottles.<\/span><\/div>\n

A separate activity is also taking place during the week beginning October 5, which is an “At Home” tasting hosted by several members in their homes. We have had a very good response to this and you will be able to read a report on the website following these events.<\/span><\/div>\n

You can see that we have begun the autumn with some interesting wine tastings, and we hope that everyone will enjoy some good wines over the next months.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
