Dear Members<\/span><\/p>\n

The October tasting was held at Restaurante La Senia in Denia. Tasting Team members Hugh & Gillian Epsom organised a light-hearted evening of \u201cWhose Wine is it Anyway?\u201d ably supported by Neville Richardson.<\/span><\/p>\n

51 people attended including guests and everyone enjoyed a fun evening with some interesting wines, generating a lot of discussion with fellow members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whose Wine Is It Anyway is a blind tasting with three descriptions of each wine \u2013 each table had to choose the correct one!\u00a0 It was a team effort, with a prize for the table with the most correct answers. Hugh, Gillian and Neville did a great job in persuading us all that their wine was the chosen wine. Congratulations to the winning table. A full report and pictures can be found on the website shortly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday 17th<\/sup> November \u2013 Los Amigos, Javea<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0 7.30 pm \u2013 Please note that we will be enjoying their excellent new premises on Cami Cabanes 39, where you will find ample parking.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A prestigious bodega from DO Montsant and DO Priorat has agreed to present their wines to us.\u00a0 The owner, Albert, is a wine innovator producing some interesting wines.\u00a0 As many of you could not attend the recent Wine Trip this is a good opportunity to enjoy his wines.\u00a0 Albert is very excited to visit CBWS.\u00a0 You will find that his story of the 4 bodegas which he owns is very interesting.\u00a0 Guests are welcome. Please make every effort to attend as Albert is travelling down from Catalunya to present to us.<\/span><\/p>\n

The wines we will be tasting will also be available for all members to order prior to Christmas so take advantage of his offer!<\/span><\/p>\n

Any cancellations after the deadline will still require payment to be made for you and\/or your guests.<\/span><\/p>\n
