As it was a Christmas event there were no formalities such as wine scoring ordescriptions of the wines, but it was a social occasion where members could enjoy good wines together in a convivial atmosphere. In fact 35% of attendees were new members so it was an excellent opportunity to socialise and get to know fellow members.

In addition each table participated in a draw and received a bottle from different bodegas to share.

The evening had a Christmas theme with a Christmas orientated quiz and the winning table received a bottle of cava.

In recognition of their hard work during our Tastings Penny Floodgate and Mike Granville were presented with a premium wine to enjoy.
